Ideas Expire

I’ve had a lot of good ideas.
I get them all the time.
Ideas I was proud of.
Ideas that made me think: "This could really be amazing."

But I was busy.
I couldn’t follow everything.
I had enough.
So I put many ideas on a shelf.
In a notebook.
Stored them safely.
Promised myself I’d come back later.

And when I did...
They weren't the same.
The energy had faded.
The world had moved on.
I had moved on.

Good ideas are like fruit.
They don't wait for you.
They ripen.
They rot.
The moment is part of the magic.

The best ideas are the ones you dare to follow.
Not someday.
Not after things calm down.
Now.
Even if it feels risky.
Even if you're not ready.

Especially if you're not ready.
